I have the above radio and been working great. Problem I have is I own 2 repeaters 1 machine is CTCSS192.8 in and out, other machine is DCS 245 in and CTCSS 192.8 out. How can I get the FT8900R to do DCS 245 TX out is fine but will not allow me to do 192.8 RX. I tried to do it in the software but could not. I need the same tones on the RX side of the radios.

Use Band A and Band B. Or Hyper-memory.

That was kinda the plan. Thank you all for the information. I thought I could just Encode with no Decode, have to look into it more.

Just leave off the receive tone in the ft8900. Then you can hear the repeater. Are both repeaters the same freq?

If I recall correctly, you could encode only with the PL tone and use carrier squelch on RX, but I recall that the DCS squelch may be locked into both TX and RX, with no option for carrier squelch.
