FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- A cyclist suffered serious injuries after crashing into a car and nearly going through its windshield Thursday morning.
The impact was so violent that the windshield on the maroon Buick sedan caved in.
Police are investigating the cause of the collision, which occurred just after 7 a.m. on Timberline Road and Mulberry Street.

Traffic on South Timberline Road between Prospect Road and Mulberry Street is restricted as police investigate. Drivers are requested to use an alternate route.
