Yaesu: FTM-100DR - C4FM Not Working

The digital side is not working at all on my friends radio. I started updating the firmware but noticed the DSN firmware read version 0.00. I went ahead and tried updating the Radio, Display Panel, and finally the DSN. All took the firmware upgrade but the DSN.

Anyone else have the same problem with this radio or similar Yeasu radios and know of a fix?

Sounds like a call to Yaesu Tech Support is in order.

make sure when checking digital versions that you are actually in either DN or VW mode. otherwise it will display 0

Thanks. I'll try this next.

We did check the firmware version in the menu prior to updating and after updating. It gives the MAIN version, the PANEL version and the DSN version. The MAIN and PANEL version were showing the correct updated version while the DSN version showed version 0.00.
