FTO Delay time

What should I set the delay time to with the new firmware on FTO??
I have 3 pair of A/B tones using the same freq. is there an advatage to having them scanning each other?? Will I miss a tone out if it happends to be on station 3 when station 1 is toned out??

The scanner is, I believe, monitoring for all toneouts on the same radio frequency simultaneously, not individually. It's just displaying all the different tones you COULD be alerted to on that freq.

As for delay, I have mine set to 5, because occasionally there is a pause between the tones and the message being sent. That's what this delay is for - it keeps the scanner 'open' to the channel for that period of time, listening for a message; if not found, it goes back to only monitoring for the alert tones.

It will alert on any on the same frequency/mode - no matter which one happend to be displayed at the current time.

I recommend a delay of INFINITE since I've heard many calls where the voice is transmitted longer than 5 seconds after the page is sent. It could even be due to another page being sent on another frequency or another tower you cannot hear. Either of those could easily eat up your 5 second delay.
