I looked in camrachicago and didn't see Peoria FTO I did a seacrh in the box there. I had to do that for Franklin Park to get FTO. I use 3 different programs to get tones. I also have a nother program that does tones from qc1-custom. if you can record them to computer and semd a file and I can see if I can get some numbers for you please also have the audio when they dispatch so I know what station they are also.
Peoria Fire Department get toned out over frequency 154.145 The county departmentrs get toned out on 154.370 and AMT, the ambulance in Peoria get toned out on 155.220
But now I'm try to decode TAZCOM's alert tones for AMTin Pekin. Does anyone know if they simulcast AMT'S dispatch on Pekin FD freq 154.250. I know they simulcast Pekin FD dispatch off of the EDACS system to the VHF system (Pekin FD freq 154.250)
What is he cheapest way to decode tones? I've heard of several programs out there but what is free and works? And do I need to be able to plug my recorder into the scanner and the computer?
ComTekk 2-Tone Decoder is pretty reasonable, their are free programs out their though. I plug my scanner into my computer(you don't have too though). I think by doing this you get a better decode.
Here's a couple of document to help all in determining the right FTO (Fire Tone-Out). You'll need to be close, but this should help you with the right tone hertz.
