Lebanon and Center Fire were dispatched to 514 S Coombs St in Lebanon for a large commercial pole barn/structure fire at approximately 1:52 AM. 911 callers advised visible fire and multiple explosions.
Prior to arrival, incoming PD and FD units advised heavy smoke and flames could be seen from a half mile or more away. Upon arrival, FD units found the building be fully involved. In addition, a tanker truck was found to be stored inside the building. Initially, there were reports of possible entrapment as there was a bedroom at the front of the structure, but it was found to be vacant. Due to the fully involved nature of the building, command ordered defensive ops only.
Also, shortly after arrival, a second alarm was sounded, requesting assistance and manpower from Advance Fire and Thorntown Fire, as well as calling in off duty Lebanon and Center Fire personnel.
