Fulton County & Atlanta

Haven't been hearing anything from Fulton county or APD. we out of I285 on the East side, nothing. I am hearing Cobb County, Even Smyrna out here in Stone Mountain. Anyone nr ATL having similar problems? Am using BCD996XT and BCD536HP on wideband discone antennas.

I can see this has been a popular thread. Did you hear them now? At the time you posted this I was hearing both agencies very well. I am on the west side.

This week Atlanta has went quiet on me. I am on the fringe and takes a yagi with a heavy gain to pick them up, and even then it's spotty at times. This week I haven't got a single hit from them. I can pick up DeKalb which is further, but not Atlanta. The antenna hasn't changed directions and everything else I monitor seems to be the same. I'm not sure what's going on, but maybe someone out there knows.

ATL was loud and clear for me on Monday. Helped a friend reprogram some scanners in the DeKalb/ATL border. He would have let me know if they weren't working.

I finally heard them in Dunwoody and on a small part of 265 just past Tucker yesterday. So they are working, it's probably a directional pattern or area limited. You can hear DeKalb, Cobb, and Clayton everywhere!
