Hello all,

Lately, I've been monitoring traffic on 155.8875 MHz. with a DCS of 546. It's showing licensed to Fulton County (repeater output). I'm just trying to figure out what this frequency is used for. For the few times I've heard it, it sounds like possible Fire Police or traffic control operations. I was hoping someone out in that neck of the woods could shed some light on this.

Thanks in advance,
Kevin

Sorry, I guess I should have worded this better. I understand it's licensed to Fulton County, I was looking to see if anyone could provide more information as to what the channel is specifically used for, such as an operations channel, fire police, traffic control, fireground, etc.

I like to try to have as much info as possible before submitting it into the database.

Are you hearing anything on the other frequencies on that license?
On one of them, yes. 154.9725 (107.2) I've received before, but the signal strength isn't as good. Database shows as Gloversville Fire Dispatch. Most of the other frequencies listed are the National Interop frequencies. I haven't been able to monitor anything on 151.175 or 158.9775, but I'm assuming it's because they're the repeater inputs for 154.9725 and 155.8875, and I'm just too far away to receive them.
