Funeral Friday for JCPD Officer Santiago

The Jersey City Police will be mourning and laying to rest Officer Santiago on Friday morning. There will be a walking procession from the McLaughlin Funeral Home at Pavonia Ave and Kennedy Blvd to St. Aloysius Church at West Side Ave and Belmont Ave. From the church the procession will proceed to Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ for burial.

Numerous outside agencies are coming into Jersey City to work the streets so that every officer can attend the service.

I will be attending the procession. My condolences to the Police Department and Officer Santiago's family. It was reported that the burial is off limits to the public, as it should be.
