Heard this morning on a local PD channel: "412, can you 10-96 (be en route) to (address) for what I think is going to be a 5150 (mentally ill person). The complainant says she woke up this morning to find a blind man and his daughter in her bed. They ate up all her food during the night and are refusing to leave now."

That'd be a startling turn of events, especially before you've had morning coffee.

Officer 1: If you had just handled this correctly the first time, we wouldn't be back out here.
Officer 2: You were with me the first time
Officer 1: You are the senior officer, it was your call
Lol I must know what the first time they were out there for

On today’s episode of Los Angeles County Sheriffs - Lancaster:

‘Local gas station states Female Hispanic Adult wearing shirt on head, tube top, carrying a small tree refusing to leave location and throwing food at employees. Woman now putting mouth all over slurpee machine.’

We draw the line at the slurpee machine 👮🏻‍♂️

HEHE.I remember as a little kid when watching EMERGENCY. The times they actually showed the dispatch center and the dispatcher pushing the button to alert station 51. Back then I used to think...why does he always pick on 51 and not the others? :)

My brother and I LOVED that show, it's why I became a Paramedic. In my 10 year old mind they always sent 51 because Gage and DeSoto were the best.......

Because Squad 51 had the largest first in response area in the world. From the Los Angeles harbor to the Kern county line. I guess Los Angeles city contracted with the county for paramedic services at LAX airport as well.
