How decent is your signal?
Do you have a shot of FMP?

There is a fusion amatuer radio here in NZ and it sounds fine with DSD+ Fastlane

I've seen a lot of variation in Fusion signals - some are about as wide as DMR signals, some are closer to 12.5 kHz wide and some are super wide (~20 kHz); no idea why Fusion setups vary so much, but some of them are bound to not get along with DSD+. I would try toggling the noise and shaping filters while watching the decoding/error levels and the eye pattern. It would be a good idea to record the raw audio of a call and then run it through DSDTune.

I have strange results also when monitoring fusion. Using DSD Plus piped via virtual cable to SDR console, I have to switch to WFM at 30KHz to clean up the audio. All the other digital modes (DMR, NXDN, P25) play well in NFM at 24 KHz or even down to 12 KHz.

Piping anything to DSD+ via virtual cable from SDR usually gives strange results regardless.

Yep, that's what I have read in the past. However, my particular setup, which isn't anything special, has no problems piping conventional DMR, P25 and NXDN thru to SDR console via the virtual cable. Even D-Star works. I only have problems with fusion. Not a big deal for me as I rarely need to listen to fusion.
