I know this is REAL early but you might want to out this on a slow back-burner if you have to work on it so it doesn't suddenly turn up as a problem.
Is your software set to be aware of the new DST dates just passed by Congress?
Just a heads up for you to make it easier for the future and avoid probably thousands and thousands of "Wha hoppened?" posts when the time comes.

I'm here a lot
Isn't implementation scheduled for 2007 ?
That would give us plenty of time to adjust, unless you are a procrastinator.

You know, this is one of those things I just can't come to grips with to have this be included in this sooo called "energy" bill. We had enough problems with the "Y2K" thing. Sounds like this is some kind of conspiracy

It's just like all the pork in the highway bill. :roll:Boo!-Poltergeisty :-0

LOL, Sorry I don't replace all my electronic equipment with clocks every two years.

Maybe the rest of the US will join AZ and ignore DST.

Yes you will - just deciding what counties go into Central vs Eastern time.

Just exactly how many devices do you have that have an automatic DST adjustment in it?

I think I have 2 clocks (that sync from WWV) and my PC's. I'm sure Mickysoft will release an update (if needed) for the PC's. I'm not sure about the clocks. But if I have to manually adjust those, it's no big deal. I already have to adjust a dozen others manually.

Homewise, the impact of the change is minimal. Work is another story. The changeover is hardcoded into the software of all my telecom switches and voicemail systems.

Pain in the backside... but on the otherhand, it gives me an excuse for upper management as to why we need to do our next upgrade!

Two rather nice watches to start with.

A few other gadgets.

The WWV stuff will be OK, its the autonomous stuff that will have issues.
