It looks like Florence's most severe effects (rain / flooding) in Maryland will be felt in Western - to - Central Maryland from Monday through Tuesday, although storm surge is possible along the coastal areas as Florence eventually moves northward. The forecast track changes every 3 hours, thus the track may shift east, west, or north as the event timeline progresses. We'll see how the newly activated First segment in the western counties weather the crisis (there has been a state of emergency declared in Maryland, not sure if the western counties were initially included.)
