Not for everyone, but one of the things I enjoy doing with my DV1 is parking it on my D-STAR simplex freq. of 144.500. I have a Kenwood D74 and a DVAP. After I connect to a reflector I can turn off the D74 and monitor D-STAR on the DV1. Sounds great!!
