FYI Doyles(Chatham) Fleetnet Down

Just an FYI for everyone in the Chatham-Kent area, The Doyles Tower went down for maintenance tonight @ 2200 hrs. It was confirmed by an MOH dispatcher over the MOH Common shortly after. No word yet as to when it will be back up.

Was working for me all night. Well around midnight. Works now too

It is back up now but it wasn't last night (18th), only the Doyles site was down, both of my scanners were not picking up the CC from 2200 until at least 0400 (19th).

What do they do when a tower is down? What back up is there?

Last time our tower went down we received a memo and if I recall correctly it was to switch to PCOM if the regular TG wasn't working, or if advised to by CACC.

that's what happened, the dispatcher reminded all units to swith to PCOM about 30 minutes before the tower went down, they also used PTAC for the hospital patches.
