Media Fire & Hook & Ladder Co. No. 1 in Media, PA in Delaware County has added a new mobile low power frequency recently.

WQFH204 uses a frequency of 453.1125.

It's out of my range for on-scene comms to detect a tone. I got a few chirps on the freq over the weekend.

At a whopping .3 w output you'll have to be REALLY close.
What radio lets you set it to .3w anyway?

This may have nothing to do with it but....
Over the years the police (basically) took over what used to be the FD TAC repeater on 502.1375 for their chit-chat channel. It has better coverage than the PD dispatch freq on 508.6375. FD used to use it in non-rptr mode on scene,

Just some FYI based on monitoring (and living in Media for 5yrs).

I recall you told me about the "fox" frequency ages ago over on SS before you left Media. I call it the "comedy" channel.

You should see State St. now! They did a sidewalk project and in the process cut down ALL the trees. The shade is gone. That and it's more or less become Restaurant Row, with come and go endeavors every 6 months or so.
