There's a multi agency DUI taskforce being dispatched on RMA-2B, SO far I've heard (lots of) TPD, OHP, and even one of Sperry's finest

Just sat down and heard the traffic on it, locked in for the night. Wasn't sure who was doing what but now I know! OHP Baker 543 couldn't even make it to HQ for a briefing before he already had one in custody.

It's Labor Day weekend. That won't be the only DUI checkpoint in the area this weekend.

When I was going to lunch tonight there was some sort of Pow Wow going on at the ODOT office on Highway 169 north of 36th St N. I saw units from multiple agencies, OHP, TPD, TCSO, Owasso, and others, as well as a law enforcement helicopter, possibly TPD's Police One. It has been some time since I have seen a TPD helicopter. Several of the units were unmarked and had no external visible lights or markings other than the recessed lights in the side view mirrors and possibly black spotlights. Also I saw a satellite truck, but could not see from what TV station it was from. From the sounds of all the traffic, It is going to be a busy night.
