G-ATT ?

I see the letter G-ATT above the F0 and it seem to cause trouble on my SDS200 scanner. How do I remove it? How did it get there?

I still don't understand. If I click Function then 4-ATT I only hear beep beep and that G-ATT is still there.

P.S I did remove it from the CC. Now I am able to receive my freq. again ty

Did you put it in HOLD first??

Remember, the G is for GLOBAL.
Unless you get it changed, EVERYTHING in the radio is being attenuated.

Sorry for late reply--Yes Global. Now every time I do an update on the SDS200 I get that G-ATT. Where on the Sentinel did I mess it up?

To turn off G-att you can hold on a channel and then press the big knob then press and hold the 4 and it will toggle global att

Oops i just noticed sentinal . not sure there but should be in the profile some where

Yes I am sure it has to be on Profile as I did some update on Tone outs. I hope it is in that area.

It is under your profile and the misc. tab fourth item on the left

Yes I did look at all profile area's and did spot that global attenuator and it is set at "OFF" now.
