Does anyone have info on the following repair guy? I used him years ago to fix my Pro-39 and now his website is gone. Just wondering if he went out of buisness? I believe he was in NY area somewhere.

Found this with a Google search G & G Communications - Scanner Radio Sales & Repair. The Address "7825 Black Street Rd., LeRoy, N.Y. 14482", puts them in the right area of the country, and the title on the website is "G&G COMMUNICATIONS".

There was also a phone # for them on the web page if you wanted to chat with them and confirm they are who I think they are. LOL.

Gerry is a great guy and runs a great business. I have been using for over 20yrs. He has done more work on radios for me than most people and I have bought more radios from him than most people. I agree with Dan. I've dealt with G & G many times over the years, from buying new scanners, to buying used scanners, to repairing any of my scanners. The only issue I have, when it comes to repairs, is the slow turn-around time. I realize that it's a one man show he's running up there, therefore when I do send up a scanner for repairs, I have to expect not to see it for at least a month or two - but when it comes back, it's fixed right.
