I "upoaded to radio" frequencies from RadioReference.com into 3 scan lists and followed all directions. I cannot get the unit to scan. Any thoughts?

What programming software are you using? It would help to know your city, county, and state, and which systems and agencies you would like to monitor.

Did you press the PRI button on the front panel? I don't have PSREdit500, but it looks like you can monitor everything in Kern County except California City PD which uses DMR. Hopefully, someone else with PSREdit500 will be able to look at your file and check it for errors.

Yes pressed PRI button.. Display goes from little letters pri to cap letters PRI. I also tried pressing the PRI button with the function button but there was no difference. I have enabled the three scan lists on the computer software, uploaded to radio but still get the same "nothing enabled" message and still does not scan.
Any more thoughts?

use the software to turn the PRI on or off and at the same time enable the favorites list that you want to listen to then reload the modifiled file to the scanner.

Thanks, everyone. I gave up on the Whistler and bought a BCD436HP instead. Getting hits once every 10 seconds or so.
