I just noticed Unication has posted V2.03 firmware for the G2-G5 on their website thru the usual AutoUp process. There is no change log posted. PPS remains at V0.4.0.46. I installed it on my G5 and seems ok so far but too early to tell at this point.

To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:
Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.
For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

G2-G5 Firmware V2.03 Released

V2.03 has been out for a while. It was replaced by 2.04 but due to some issues with 2.04, they made 2.03 available on their website.
V2.03 and V2.04 are both "current" and V2.05 should be out soon to correct any issues found in v2.04.

Can 2.03 go on the older pagers? I read once that the older ones were limited to 2.02 (until 2.04 came out) and honestly I never saw 2.03 available from Unication I didn't think.

Thank you. I’m on V2.04 now and sometimes it gets stuck on a TG when scanning multiple TG’s and it’ll just sound like an open mic.
There is a note about V2.04 being pulled because of issues with some people.
That’s the reason it was pulled.
I bought my G5 back in April 2018 so an older one for sure.
I didn't realize there was a V2.03 out before. I had V2.02 then upgraded to V2.04 with the occasional freezing issues and just installed V2.03 this morning.
After monitoring a fairly busy Phase 2 Motorola trunked system for the past 2 hours with wildcard, no freezing noted so far.
