G3 on Win10 64bit Programming failed!!!

Got new laptop running with Win 10 64bit.

Can read very well but couldnt write (programm) to G3 .

Everytime having same issues PROGRAM FAILED!!

Can someone help me pls???

Regarding the codeplug file you are trying to "write" to the G3, did you use the original "read" codeplug and modify that version, or did you create your own from scratch from a list of the drop-down model numbers? If you didn't use the original that came out of the radio, try that. Read it, then save a spare version of it. Modify that file and try to upload. You might have used a version of the codeplug where features don't match.

Another question: are you using the original USB cable that came with the G3? Many of us have learned that you can't use just any off-the-shelf USB cable due to the potential for RX/TX data lines to be missing.

Yes i ve tried to write original codeplug,which was readed first from radio,then modified by my self.

I m using original usb cable that came with the G3.

If you haven't tried this yet, attempt to upload the original, unmodified codeplug. I'm guessing that you are using a USB port directly on your PC (and not a hub)? Are you able to try a different PC? Beyond this, I'm out of ideas. If you can't load up the original codeplug, then I'm thinking that maybe you have a problem with the G3 (sorry to say).

Contact the distributor you purchased it from and see if they can offer any suggestions. Otherwise they will need to request a support ticket from Unication TW on your behalf.

I ve tried and had luck with Macbook.Then, tried new laptop running with Win 7,no issues.When i got new laptop running with Win 10,no luck to write,can only read.
I think,i do not have any problem with the G3 as i said i did it with 2 different pc.
By the way yes i m using directly to usb port.
