G5 band options

I live in massachusettes and noticed the g5 has band options . I was confused on what band option i would need ? would anyone be able to help me out?

No one is going to be able to read your mind. You need to state what it is you're intended on listening to with the G5, that determines the band splits.

G5 VHF Band: 136~174MHz plus 700/800Mhz

G5 UHF B Band: 380-430MHZ plus 700/800Mhz
G5 UHF C Band: 400-470MHZ plus 700/800Mhz
G5 UHF D Band: 450-512MHz plus 700/800Mhz

Research the RR database for the area(s) you're interested in monitoring to make an informed decision. I'm in the SE/E part of the state and it's UHF heavy (450-512) in this area, majority on 453, 470, 482 ranges.
