G6 - Interop?????

I have put my BC996 in my vehicle. I've been hearing strange coms on the RWC - G6 Interop for Phx as listed in the data base. Sounds like it's some kinda internal communications as they were using names, etc. Is this TG still used for interop? Anyone have any idea?

I think G-6 is being used by law enforcement at the Waste Management Phoenix Open golf tourney. L-8 is being used by FD/EMS, I believe.
