The Guardian 7 (https://www.uniden.com/video-survei...dian_7_Touchscreen_LCD_with_2_Outdoor_Cameras ) allows entering information for an SMTP account that should email you if motion is detected.

First, they recommend using a Gmail account; however, when I set one up, Google messages me and says that the attempt was blocked, because it's not a secure method.

I tried another one of my email accounts with the exact server IP, port number, email address and password; however, I don't get notifications.

Other internet aspects of the system are working. (For example, remote monitoring from the Android app.)

Has anyone else had success setting this up?
