GALENA, Ill. -- The Jo Daviess County Law Enforcement and Courts Committee approved a $956,215 quote for a public safety radio system, submitted by Comelec Services, of Dubuque, at a special meeting.

Not a whole lot in the article as far as technical specifications go. I wonder if they will stay on VHF. Their current VHF conventional system for law enforcement seems to work pretty well. Hopefully they didn't get sold a bill of TRBO or NXDN goods.
