Galt PD Officer shot and killed while responding to a Burglary

This was in my local paper this morning. An Galt PD Officer was killed Jan15th, around 11am while responding to a burglary call. The Officer was in the process of checking out a subject possibly related to the incident when the subject who was armed with a weapon started fighting with the officers. The suspect ended up taking the Galt PD Officers life as well as his own.
