Gardena PD Unit Numbers

Can anyone assist me with decoding Gardena PD unit numbers? Attempting to get a list together for a relative who lives in the area and is a scanner newbie.

Don't really listen to them but from what I gather they kinda follow the standard naming conventions.
A = 2 man car, L = 1 man car. M = motorcyles etc.

The city is split into 3 districts
Gardena Police Department
