Gardendale and Warrior police

Is anyone else not receiving Gardendale and Warrior police. I have received them on the Palmerdale site fine up to now but nothing in about a week.

I haven’t listened to Gardendale in alittle while but I’m picking up Warrior on the Warrior and Jeffco Simulcast towers

its not a constant thing a unit must be close enough to "hit" the tower.
this is decided by the radio or site controller.
fyi trussville fire is not on the main simulcast site anymore. (need verified)
i only hear them on the hufman/ med center east site.
if you only care about birmingham fire they can be heard on huffman .

Thanks for the reply, why would I receive them loud and clear for several months on the Palmerdale site and all of the sudden they go silent ? I get Trussville Fire on their VHF channel and Trussville PD on the Palmerdale site. This stuff can be confusing for a old man even though I have been listening for over 55 years and owned about every scanner ever made..

its the nature of the system. the site controller makes that call.
i know is prob more tech than you would understand . it could be they are not rolling and patrolling that area much .
i dont know how a radio is setup . i think i heard them once answer the call in the station on a wt prob then when they go enroute they are on the main simulcast site.
i to listen to the palmerdale site the only reason is for warrior fire and palmerdale fire.
to be honest i have not paid that much attention to it lately .
