Around 1:00pm today I heard tones and a message come over the Bergen County TRS Fire Dispatch (tg 91). The dispatcher said, testing the Garfield Fire Dept trunked radio system. No further transmissions this afternoon. My radios are programmed to the Uhf South Simulcast site. FYI, Chuck.

In the past I've only heard them on their 501.xxxx frequency. Today I'm hearing tg 91 and 501 at the same time. Interesting, thanks for the info. Chuck.

You may want to add the 700 sites in, the UHF will not be doing emergency services once the 700 is fully built out. I believe the Carlstadt site is online now. I only use the 700 sites now in South Bergen with no issues. I get the the TRS down bast Newark Airport now on my G5.

91 appears to be the defacto paging TG for those agencies with Unication G5 pagers. Midland Park has G5s for both Fire and EMS, and all MPFD trucks have APX8500 multiband mobiles. However, they still page over 158.9400 also.
