Once you guys find the new CC, for both the Garland County Simulcast and the Hot Springs Simulcasts... Please hit us with the Site Number of the Garland County Simulcast if it changed from the old numbering of Blowout #.... Also will need a full Unitrunker, or Pro96Com, or Analysis on one of the new Unidens for full freq use etc...

I didn’t get anything for the frequencies jhsands mentioned above. I have a Wilson 700/800 yagi pointed right at Blowout. It’s about 12 miles away & I could usually clearly hear the data channel on the old frequency before the switchover.

I have a quick key 99 called “AWIN Test” setup with all the control channels as analog in one bank, to help me point my antenna with the signal meter. Blowout is the only one I can get at home due to terrain. But my handheld works as I drive, so I know what site I am hearing at any particular location. I expect Jessieville to also be heard at my location.

The search continues. I’ll post if I find anything.

I've got a Whistler WS1098 and have been searching the 764-771mhz myself trying to locate the control channels for the Blowout Site with no luck either. Luckily I'm close enough to get the Jack Mtn. and Magnet sites.

The control channel will be one of these:

764.20625
769.90625
770.65625
771.31875>>>THIS FREQ IS THE CONTROL CHANNEL FOR FORT SMITH SIMULCAST!
771.44375
771.56875
771.99375
772.44375>>>THIS FREQ WILL COME UP IN MY LIST AFTER I PROGRAM 771.31875 AS THE CC!
A few months ago, was having problems receiving some Sebastian Co channels! I used my Uniden 536HP did a test, scanned for Freq;s in 700MHz range and logged them thru ProScan! I then programed each Freq separate to see what would come up! The only one that would log other Freq's (with VOICE) was the 771.31875! and the 772.44375 is used in my new list.

I'm still hearing Garland County SO on 155.445 from my location in Russellville.

I will be in Hot Springs in early November for a three day conference. I plan to take my 436HP and my laptop + SDR to do some analysis.

While looking at the RR database for AWIN I noticed that the Magnet site had some new 700mhz frequencies added to it. Not sure if that has to do with the new upgrade here in Garland County. Everybody using the new AWIN here will be using Motorola APX radios.

I was in Hot Springs and Hot Springs Village Thursday and was able to discover site 2-26, which appears to be the new Garland County Simulcast, in active use. Control Channels of 773.8125 (Primary) and 770.4625 (Alternate). I was unable to find the Blowout site on any of the old frequencies, so this site appears to be offline now. Full info I was able to obtain via Unitrunker has been submitted for addition to the database.

I did search for the Hot Springs City Simulcast via a scan of 700 Mhz and 800 Mhz Public Safety frequencies, and the listed frequencies on their license, and did not find any traffic or sites online yet.

Well we have 2 new confirmed TGs for Garland County AWIN TGID 18469 is Piney FD and 18470 is Mtn. Pine FD. They have been conducting system tests to check for possible dead spots within their districts. The switch over time is coming very soon.

I was in Hot Springs last week for a conference. Probably that will be the last time I hear the HSPD on their old Motorola analog system. I just hope they don't go enc on us like Russellville did six years ago when they switched to AWIN.

I don't believe HSPD will encrypt the dispatch channel but possibly the Tac channels will be encrypted. The AWIN switch over for HSPD is still a little ways out.

I haven't heard Garland County SO on 155.445 from my location in Russellville for several days now. Normally it is a very busy channel. Now, silence. Can we assume that they've made the switch to AWIN?

GCSO has made the switch over to full time AWIN. They are using the TGID 21601 SO/OEM for all GCSO main traffic now. Fire and EMS hasn't switched over yet.
