Does anyone in the Gatesville, Texas have an outside antenna connected to a digital scanner? I am curious to know if an outside antenna would pull in more distant signals from surrounding areas such as Waco.
I have heard Woodway P25 from Hamilton, Texas while traveling on 36. Last night, I heard Bell County, Lampasas County and several others coming in on my 436HP connected to my mobile antenna. However, I am wondering if a omnidirectional or directional base antenna would make a difference.
