Hey Guys. If you are planning to monitor the Gatlinburg area anytime soon, here's a tip. There are four main PD's

1) Sevier County Sheriff
2) Sevierville PD
3) Pigeon Forge PD
4) Gatlinburg PD.

All four of these agencies are constantly busy. There was even a short police chase this weekend that I heard within 15 minutes of arriving in the area.

When programming your scanner for this area, keep in mind to tag 460.075 as the Seveirville Police Dept main dispatch, and NOT Gatlinburg PD ops. This will clear up some confusion for you.

Thanks, I will be there the first week of June. I have been going through the RadioRefernce database to collect all the frequencies listed. Was that your main source of frequencies?

Thanks,
David

Fire set up is like the data base has each dept has its own frequency except Wears Valley vol fire dept and Waldens Creek vol fire dept share a repeater on 154.1750 PL tone of 203.5 . Half the county uses UHF the other half uses VHF
Seymour Fire tone set are
EMS 584.8 Hz, 617.4 Hz followed by a long 1000 Hz tone
Fire and all other calls are 584.8 Hz, 726.8 Hz followed by a warble tone

Thanks, I'll probably be back that way the first of next year. Had a good trip there earlier this year.

I will. I went to the Dixie Stampede last trip. That was pretty good.

Gatlinburg 37.26

BTW, Gatlinburg still operates a low band system on 37.26, which used to be a nearly universal freq for law enforcement in Tenn. G'burg has their public works on it, can't remember their PL tone.
