GATRRS Austin: Davis IR Tower Decode

I sat outside of the old Davis IR tower site (Greater Austin/Travis Regional Radio System (GATRRS) Site: Davis IR) in SW Austin today, this tower used to have it's own control channel, 4 voice frequencies and not much activity. Now it's like a full simulcast (site 7 851.1375c) with 24 voice channels on new frequencies. It was broadcasting non-stop activity. There were times when the tower seemed to be at 50-60% capacity as there were 10 or so voice channels transmitting simultaneously. Some of the TGIDs were used citywide, example: 980 APD Edward was using the davis tower, but edward sector is on the opposite side of town. more and more of the old sites with separate control channels or IR sites are switching to full-on simulcast sites.
