I used to be able to pick up the TxDOT Headquarters site 57 pretty strong, especially on the NW side. Past month can't even pick up a control channel anywhere. The new site that popped up 55 NW SA has a strong control channel even well into the city towards downtown. Is anyone still picking up site 57 at all? I have checked programming in two seperate radios and the site is programmed correctly per the database. Any help?

I’m still mobile right now so I’ll update this later but found 2.54 in Southeast San Antonio coming in pretty strong, and 2.55 is just the old 1.57 same place. I forgot that I had found 2.56 in new Braunfels a few weeks ago so I’ll get both of those added and updated tonight.

Database updated. 2.54, 2.55 and 2.56 are all on TxDOT towers on Loop 410 NW, SH 46/IH 10 in Seguin, and IH 35 south of New Braunfels. State license WPTZ776 is in use. 1.57 and 1.58 have been updated to the new RFSS/Site numbers.

Thanks for the update. I was in Garden Ridge, and site 56 was full strength. It doesn't carry all the traffic. I only heard Comal SO 1 for one conversation, and that was it for 45 minutes. The primary Comal site(21) was busy but came in very weak in the Garden Ridge/Bracken area, while 56 was silent.
