All I know is that Simulcast 7 sounds incredible on the SDS 100 at my house in the hills near 360 and 183. Signal is strong and clear. It is absolutely comparable to a commercial radio.

So.....are we pretty sure this is the only Travis County simulcast going forward? If so, I think we can drop the "7" going forward and rename it "Austin Simulcast" or "Travis Simulcast" or something of that nature.

During my recent visit to Travis County I did not see the dreaded "ENC" on my SDS 100 screen.

It seems like Sites 1 and 7 are now up.
What control channel frequency are you seeing for Simulcast1 / Site 1? Most if not all of the old CC's are not transmitting data but are carrying voice traffic still. The old Sim1 CC of 851.2875 is still silent in SW Austin.

I apologize, my bust. Somehow I had the Simulcast 7 CC in my Simulcast 1 list. After a clean-up, I am only hearing Simulcast 7 again.
