I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, you can move it if you like. I think it pertains to Pennsylvania, so I'm putting it here.
I currently have 2 feeds running on here, Lower Bucks County Fire and Eastern Delaware County Fire. Each runs from a different location (Lower Bucks from Northeast Philly, Eastern Delco from the Collingdale area).
I am working on a setup that would combine all of my personal listening radios into one audio source via a sound mixer. At this time I monitor Philly Fire on a PSR-800, Bucks Fire on a VHF analog radio, Eastern Montco Fire on a Pro-197, and Delaware County Fire on a UHF analog radio. I will then be transmitting all of this on an FM frequency via a low power FM transmitter so that I can monitor all of this anywhere in my home via a small FM tuner and earphones.
While talking to a friend about this setup, I thought of maybe streaming it on RR (or, rather, Broadcastify once it's launched). If I did that, the Lower Bucks Fire Feed would have to be changed to accommodate the new feed, and the Eastern Delco Feed would be removed. If this feed were changed, it would be all fire radio traffic, with the left channel carrying Eastern Delco and Eastern Montco, and the right channel carrying Philly and Lower Bucks. So the question is, would you as the listener like to see this feed put in place or should I just leave the Lower Bucks feed alone?
As of right now the mixer is connected and running, but only through a pair of headphones at the moment. If there isn't much activity, it's easy to monitor, but if the area see a lot of fire activity at once (during storms, etc) I can see it getting quite hectic to listen to.
I'd like some input (preferably from those who monitor the feeds in the Philly area. Your comments are welcome.
