Seems like the GBI and DNR have a few repeaters. I would suspect that there is very little radio traffic. Do you guys hear them very often?

The DNR repeater in Lincoln County has some activity in the Summer months. I've heard activity during the hunting seasons too but not as much. The repeater output is 159.750mhz and you'll hear the units call each other and identify as being "on Lincoln".

I've caught some GBI activity in the past on 151.205mhz in the McDuffie County area but it's been many years since I have. I know of at least five repeater pairs, they all use the same output of 151.205mhz, same PL tone but have different repeater inputs.

Fortunately, GA
GBI is not very active. DNR near Lake Lanier in the summer is always busy. Fall brings more on hunting. Go to the database and pick out the division that includes your county. Then add the statewide frequencies. Fall brings a lot of tropo, so include others without the PL's. Ya just never know what you'll hear:) If you have any US Army Corps of Eng nearby, plug in their frequencies also.
