Model Number?

What is the model number on your GE radio?

We have a bunch of the old MASTR II Low Band GE Mobiles that have a "chip" in them that you can take out and "Program" for up to 8 frequencies. (Built before Erickson took 'em over)

We got them used from a gas company in Kentucky about 15 years ago. They still play like new. They're a hundred watt mobile. Have the "Trunk unit, control head, speaker" all with them. They are just a "little large" compared to the new stuff on the market.

HOWEVER, they play 100 times better on TX and have a much much better RX than ANYTHING they've built lately, GE/Erickson or Mororola !!!!

he wants to know if you want a conventional, EDACS, or Hamflash.......

the Hamflash will allow front panel programming, but it's a PITA...

Ok so from what i gather it has to deal with programing it, right? Im sorry i cant tell you what model it was because its located in Texas right now. This is all due to a trade. I bought a "VHF" ohh sorry UHF radio hehe the man i bought it from mislabled the discription. so i ended up with a UHF radio and now both of my radios are in Texas. and the man has asked me this question.

Thx
