We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

Yesterday when I was on the phone and my scanner was turned down at the office a light twin had it's gear collapse on the runway. I drove over later and saw them lifting it with a small crane. Anyone hear any of the radio traffic when it happened?

I can't find anything yet local online about it. It was on the news here though. At the time I saw them lifting it I didn't know what had happened, I was just in the area. I'll keep looking after my next meeting.
