All of the sites are on that license!
Just so that I understand it correctly, aren't these the same five sites that they have had since 2001? I thought that the OP said five additional sites and I didn't see any construction changes in the admin section.

Sorry if I misunderstood his post.

I reread his post and I believe you are correct, it sounds as if they are going to add 5 additional sites, I misunderstood your post and I apologize.

I live in SE PA. In my notes, I show a reception of 155.160 MHz 151.4 PL on 11/24/2024.

But keep in mind, that I don't live in their operating area, so they were probably doing a transport in or out of the Philly region and that's why I heard them.

They said "Geisinger Life Flight 5 on primary".

So that frequency and PL is their "Primary Frequency" and they do flight following on that, and if their UHF fails for them. I believe that it is only off of 1 tower. The UHF is off of multiple towers and is used for paging and dispatch and daily ops comms.

I wish I knew more, but I don't.

Hey, that's why we're all here. Everyone brings a piece of their knowledge and experience and shares it with others.

Many of us, probably yourself included, have done this either as a career or volunteer, or both.

It's a great hobby!

I'm in Union County. 155.16/151.4 is simplex primary for operations around here. 453.125 R is where the other operations are. That info is in the database right here. Different PL's for different areas. What all the other frequencies are used for that are listed on the uls link above, I have no idea.

My home 20 eating pizza.
I get LF 3 dispatch and ops on the 453.125 and have never heard activity in this area on the 155.16. But that also used to be my Counties primary hospital notification channel prior to out switch to P25 a few years ago.
