Spectrum Management shows a license (CFB562) for a DMR system for General Motors with the transmitter located at 900 Park Road South.

Frequencies listed on the license are (in frequency record ID order):

939.02500 MHz
939.08750 MHz
939.01250 MHz
939.06250 MHz
939.05000 MHz
939.11250 MHz
939.12500 MHz
939.07500 MHz
939.10000 MHz
939.03750 MHz

The license was just issued/effective October 1, so the system is probably in its infancy.

Strangely, the license conditions warn that it is GM's responsibility to ensure this system does not cause intra-system interference with their other systems in Ingersoll and St Catharines.

Curious... is the order I listed the freqs in, the correct LCN order?

If so, then it might become useful when looking up licenses. If licenses are now being registered in what amounts to LCN order, that might save people a lot of time.

I have staged this trunk system and if people choose to contribute information, I can release it to the database.

Just an FYI this system uses the same frequencies as the GM CAMI Automotive plant in Ingersoll. Same network ID, different sites. The CAMI system went live about a month ago, give or take.

How come, given that it's DMR, we are seeing only one LCN per RF channel, whereas DMR gives two...
"Real" LCNs should be 1-20 .

Some DMR systems in RR DB show the RF channel duplicated, with consecutive LCNs.

At the risk of opening up a can of worms (similar to the one I cracked open a few days ago), does this seem like a good candidate for having one RRDB entry with multiple sites in different counties?

I agree, they are all the same network ID.. just sites are different.. and I would not be surprised to see linked talkgroups when the system starts being used.

I also noticed you have a 2 mile radius setup.. I can hear it from much further.. at least 5 miles (perhaps 2 miles is what IC licensed it for)

I can't see talkgroups being linked from one site to another... don't know why they would need that. Might be interesting to see if some of the talkgroups are the same though (ie security, ERT etc). The CAMI site also uses a ton of private calls (carryover from the old iDEN system).

I fixed a frequency omission for CAMI and added a few talkgroups. All the activity I've seen has been on groups in the 7200 range (7201 - ~7040), plus as I mentioned earlier extensive use of private calls.

I was down in St Catharines today and was park across the GM Plant there and noticed that they are using the same Con+ system .. I would probably gather that the frequencies there are the same as the ones at the other plants here in Ontario..

939.0375 Con+ CC 1 Net 395 Site 74. didn't hear any TG's active in the short stay in the area though.
