General scanner question

I am looking to buy a new scanner; I have a BC-760XL but would like to buy a new scanner with more sophisticated features. I would like a faster scan rate, proximity scan over ride (if it exists), a scanner that displays PL or CTCSS codes (if it exists), and at least 500 frequency memory.

Are you looking for a Radioshack or a Uniden? Uniden has the BCD396T, BCD996T, and the BCT15. All are very "feature rich". Radioshack has the PRO-97, which I have, and I can say is a great scanner. It has signal stalker (scans for close signals), skywarn, 1000 channels, LTR trunking, CTCSS/DCS, backlit keypad, etc. If you want a base, the PRO-2055 is the base model of the PRO-97.
