Genesee County Officials, with the full cooperation of the MPSCS have officially petitioned the FCC (pending #0001704794) to implement a six-site simulcast system that will be a sub-system to the regular MPSCS TRS. The new system will allow full interoperability with all public safety agencies throughout the county and across the entire state. The following frequencies are planned to be used for the new TRS:
1. Mount Morris - 6110 E. Francis Road: 107 meters AGT.
2. Swartz Creek - 6370 Ray Road: 87 meters AGT.
3. Flint - 1 km southeast of the intersection of Coldwater Road and M-54: 97.5 meters AGT.
4. Goodrich - 500 meters southeast of the intersection of Gale and Hegel Roads: 109.7 meters AGT.
5. Flushing - 1.3 km southwest of the intersection of Carpenter and McKinley Roads: 97.5 meters AGT.
6. Montrose - 95.7 meters west of Marshall Road & 1 km south of Lake Road: 97.5 meters AGT.
AGT = Above Ground Terrain.
Additionally, each tower site will have the conventional International Mutual Aid channels of: 866.0125 and 866.5125 MHz., that will be used for mutual aid and fallback communications.
