Geneva County Comm System
This license started out as "Geneva County E911 Board" call sign WQPP657.
I assume S & P Communications was contracted to rebuild it into a NDXN system.
S & P has Covington county, Coffee county, Houston county and Crenshaw
county in a network L337 with up to now about 30 sites. Law enforcement, private
companies use their network.
This system (Geneva) contains most of WQPP657's frequencies some of them are from
S & P's license. Here is what I have for it. Its complicated by combining 2 or more licenses
for use in 1 site. Word salad, like I said I failed english composition. There seems to be deputy
business on these, may have taken the place of Geneva County SO's freqs. Let us know if this
is the case.

Looks like these Geneva county sites have Samson, Hartford, Slocomb and Geneva SO on
different groups.
3400 Geneva So
3407 Samson dispatched by Geneva SO
3422 Hartford
3431 Slocomb
Each site has different neighbors so some probably won't be heard on all 4 sites.
Samson is a neighbor to OPP's site.
Site (Hartford east?) site is neighbors with Chancellor site in Coffee county.
This has been fun like a jigsaw puzzle, finding pieces and figuring out where they go.
I'm gone, gonna play in the dirt. Tator planting time in LA, thats lower alabama to some of you all.

No idea on 3400 on the Enterprise High School site15. I have confirmed all the freqs
and channels to my satisfaction but please verify it for yourself.

Which TV detective said there is such thing as a "coincidence", Hercule Poirot"? Well B I have seen an
interaction between Site 15 and site 27. While sitting on Site 15 "occasionally" channel 271 (one of Site 27's
channel's} will appear on it. I "assume" there is a freq that is close or the same on both systems and causes
interference. My logs aren't deep enough to tell what's going on. Anyway no coincidence, its happened more
than once and only on that site I believe.

Found another Geneva county frequency. 154.1375 is licensed to s & p for the Samson area.
A conventional site NDXN 48 RAN 1. 34 Central talks on it, seems to be F & R but I don't know for
sure. A little encryption. Another site using DMR is on it to, Ft Gains Ga is the closest that the database
shows to me. Its fully encrypted so I can't figure it out. May swing my antenna up that way and watch
the signal strength to see if I can get a bearing to it. Like I said like a crossword puzzle, corners first?

B this network has some sites that have some frequencies that are real close to each other. Site 15 has 152.2850, site
27 has 152.2985. DSDPlus and my TRX-2 won't decode 152.2850 because 152.2925 bleeds over onto it. There
are 2 more freqs that do the same thing so there is some contamination going on.

b here is a list of s&p freqs for the Evergreen site. My antenna won't pull in that far, it just does get the River Falls site
when skip is running. Try them if you want. They are listed as temporary.

The past 2 night I have been getting a good signal on Sites 26 and 27. On both sites I got Tg 3400-Geneva SO, and Tg 3431-Slocomb PD. On Site 26 a got Tg 3439- UNK. The UID on the scanner and in my loging software showed the UID as HFD Rescue 2 the few hits I got. I am thinking Tg 3439 would be Hartford Fire Department. If I am wrong please let me know. On Site 27 I got one hit on Tg 3414-UNK. It was just a key up with no audio but the log showed a UID 21105. Any ideal who this is?

I saw on the Hartford FD Facebook page today that starting April 1st Hartford PD will not be dispatching calls no longer.
34 Central, which is Geneva SO dispatcher, will be doing it from now on. They must have started early cause I logged 34 Central on Tg 3422- Hartford PD last night.

joe I have had computer problems for a while, lost my main computer. Naturally I hadn't did a backup in a while. I'm still
not back up to full speed on some things. I had noticed like you that Hartford units were already being dispatched by 34 central.
I'll try to log some tomorrow. Saw on FB that a big sun flare happened yesterday, wondered if skip was good or is still
good. Solar cycle 25 wasn't supposed to be that good I thought. Gonna see if CB channels are opened up.

Got a good signal again on Sites 24,25, 26 and 27 Saturday morning from 4am tell about 7am then lost the signal. I am going to say that TG 3439 is Hartford Fire and they are being dispatched by 34 Central. Got a new TG 3414 on Site 25. The UIDs showed GPD and then a number so I am going to guess maybe city of Geneva Police Department.
