Geneva on the Lake Freq. question in Ashtabula Co.

I noticed that the Ashtabula Sheriff is now broadcasting on the Geneva on the Lake police frequency of 154.085. They do a simultaneous broadcast on the Sheriff's main band of 155.550. Can anyone explain this?

Was GOL and Geneva city arguing a few months about the cost of dispatching? Maybe they got a better price from the SO. I live in Concord/lake Co near 44/90. That reptr on 155.55 SO dispatch come's in loud most of the time. That is a good 20-30 miles from me. What freqs do you listin too in Ashtabula? I am now dating some in Ashtabula TWP so i just added what the RR database had for them. Thanks

Geneva on the Lake switched police dispatching from Geneva City to the S.O.Fire dispatch is done by Saybrook instead of Geneva City
