Has anyone had any luck/heard any life flight traffic on the listed VHF/UHF frequencies that are in the database.
OR
Heard any traffic on the multitude of licensed Air Evac frequencies that are listed on ULS.

My current situation has put me in very close proximity to a hospital and I have had time to mess with a scanner, that's what's sparked my seach lol

Most of them have Technisonics cross programmed for municipal trunking systems around the state and that's where most LZ and EMS to HOSP coordination gets done. I have about 12 active IDs in our PM database for medical choppers on our system.
They also do have VHF HEAR, UHF MED 1-10, NIFOG, etc.

I catch them on state hospital a good bit doing scene comms and hospital pre alerts. The services I've worked for would patch state hospital to a tac channel when we would call for them; it proved to be less than ideal. A lot of helicopters in the carolinas use the Palmetto 800 to communicate with their dispatch and I'm trying to narrow down what is being used here in Georgia. I see a bunch of license through the state and several that are listed in the DB; curious if any are actually active or if they have migrated to POC. At one point Southern Linc was used by Air Methods, but I haven't seen those carried since Iden was sunset.

Every once in a while I will get an Airlife Atlanta dispatch go out, I spoke to the pilot and one of the nurses on board and they said that they are dispatched via page to their phones. But if that doesn't work for whatever reason it'll go out via VHF, the AirLife Atlanta repeater is also a link to their headquarters to where they can communicate if they aren't on a medical run and go in between hospitals to pick up equipment etc so that dispatch knows where they are.

All of the medical helicopters in Georgia are programmed on trunked radio systems by two people who are avionics techs as only they can lawfully touch anything mounted in an aircraft under FAA regs. As such, most system have a dedicated talk group for LZ coordination- on our system it's known as AIR OPS. We don't patch anything outside our system unless necessary and do not have VHF or UHF conventional anything.

They may use other methods for internal comms, but when it comes to coordinating with FD and ground transport, it's done over RF and all depends on who is responding and if they know how to find a given system/channel on the Technisonic.

Your system is set up as it should be, I'm not at all surprised by that.

I'm familiar with air to ground coordination. At the moment I'm more interested in the internal comms; it's something to pass the time right now. I've read that one major provider was linking their call center to bases using Wave on Cloud. I don't think the use of cellular based PTT would be allowed in flight due to FAA regulations.

The Airlife 4 newnan channel is fairly active with dispatches and sometimes a patient report to transmit to the hospital as a relay. I've heard traffic on the airlife atlanta area channel also. this is different from the coordination with units on the ground that happens on the trunked system talkgroups or HEAR

Try State Fire channel and HEAR System for scene calls (non-internal). For internal, much of the frequencies listed on RR for the different flight programs is active to varying degrees.
