Can anyone verify if Georgia Power is using 153.350mhz? I thought they used Southern Linc exclusively. I've been hearing comms related to power lines, fuses, etc., late tonight after the storms from Ivan came through. Warren County S.O. was also making reference to Georgia Power restoring power to certain areas.

B.T.W. Jefferson Electric uses 153.470mhz so I'm almost positve it's not them but I still want verification.

Any help would be appreciated.

We had a blown fuse on one of our main lines last night around 22:30 and had to call Ga Power.

I think that you are correct that Ga Power is using SouthernLinc.

Georgia Power primarily uses SouthernLINC but they do have several conventional channels. Many of their power plants have conventional repeaters. During the hurricanes they rented several repeaters from us that they had in different locations around GA and parts of FL and AL.
