I'm helping MetroFire31 out here a little bit.

Back in the days when I ran ScanAtlanta.com, we used to have get-togethers called ScanIn's! We had from as small as 5 people to over 30 people for these! Great times and great eats by all. We would show up for lunch and there were 20+ people coming in with scanners going and we would watch all the cooks and table cleaners run out of the building!

We are looking at getting together for lunch at an area in the Metro Atlanta area, we've had a couple at The Downwind restaurant at PDK airport, and maybe we could do this again. It will be on a Saturday so we know most people can attend. I'll get with MF31 to set a date/time/place and will post it here!

BTW Everyone - the PDK tower is 120.9000 AM and ground is 121.6000 AM.

PARKING FOR THE SCANIN:

When you turn into PDK (Airport Road), proceed down until you come to the parking log on the RIGHT. It's recently been repaved, so we have plenty of room to adjourn to after lunch!

It's shaping up to be a great gathering. Many of us who've chatted on here but have never met in person will be there. If anybody has radios, scanners, antennas, etc. that you want to show off, swap, sell, implode or whatever - bring them. B7spectra and I are planning some nice prizes for various things. If anybody is coming who has a two-way and is interested, we'll be using itinerant freq: 154.570 (no code) as a talk-around frequency.
