Was just going a scan and i hit a control channel on 792.4625. Not sure how or where its coming from, but my 2096 is scanning it. Got 1003 TG so far, i'll update more tg as i go along. Anyone know what this?

Update, it seems only TG 1033 DGLS Cty

Now i got TG1786.

Anyone know what control channel tower this is coming off from?

Spur?

The FCC database does not show that frequency in use anywhere in the US. Perhaps a spurious response in your receiver? Do you have another receiver to try?

He has got to be seeing something that is on another frequency because the repeater input to that frequency would be +30 MHz, which puts it at 822.4625 MHz and conflicts with the old NPSPAC band.

Any chance you can run pro96com on it to see what tower you are receiving?

I can barely make out the CC here in Parker, but its nowhere strong enough to run Pro96Com with it.

Logging from downtown now and it's showing site 104, West Creek.

It's an image frequency of the real CC on 800.

I'm betting the voice channels are all 800.

The 2096 does not recognize 700 MHz frequencies for tracking.

Had an image too

In the past I also got an image of the DTRS Badger Mtn CC in the high 700's on both the Pro96 and the PSR500. Checked and they have the same IF's. Knew it was an image when I couldn't hear it on the Pro2006 using the same antenna. But it was interesting for a while.
